Freestanding Catio Enclosure

This freestanding cat run is designed to create a safe, secure outdoor space where cats can explore, climb and relax. Handmade to order in the UK, it is built using strong pressure-treated timber and 16G welded wire mesh, making it suitable for outdoor use and safe for cats.

The run is fully enclosed with a mesh roof and includes a full-height door panel. It is supplied flat-packed with fixings and is designed for simple self-assembly. A professional fitting service may also be available in selected UK areas.

Available Colours

This run is available in the following colour options as well as the standard Brown:

• Black
• Grey
• Green

Wire Mesh and Safety

This run is made using strong 16G fully galvanised welded wire mesh. 16G mesh is safe for cats and helps make the run fox- and dog-resistant.

You can choose your preferred mesh hole size from the available options. The 1/2" x 1/2" mesh option is also suitable for helping keep rats out.

Please note that lighter mesh, such as 19G, is not recommended for cats, as it may not be suitable for climbing and could increase the risk of paw injuries.

Timber and Finish

The run is built using thick pressure-treated timber framing for strength and long-term outdoor durability. The timber is finished using animal-safe paint or stain, depending on the colour and finish selected.

Our timber is well-suited to outdoor use, but we recommend retreating it yearly, where possible, to help protect it from the weather and extend its lifespan.

Optional Roof Choices

Please select your preferred roof option from the dropdown provided. The mesh roof option creates a fully enclosed run, helping stop cats from getting out and helping prevent other animals from getting in from above.

This run does not include shelves or accessories unless they are selected from the available options.

Large shelves pack:
12 shelves, 2 corner shelves, 1 sleeping crate, 2 rope bridges and 2 ladders.

Medium shelves pack:
9 shelves, 1 rope bridge and 1 ladder.

Small shelves pack:
5 shelves and 1 ladder.

You can also add rope bridges and sleeping crates using the dropdown options provided.

If you select “Do not add” on the relevant option, the run will not include that extra.

Rope bridges and sleeping crates are made to fit this run. Rope bridges span one panel. Shelves are supplied with brackets. Shelves and accessories are supplied in a brown-stained finish for long life and are not painted.

Delivery and Installation

Prices include VAT.

Free delivery is available to most UK mainland postcodes. Free delivery excludes AB, IV, PH, PA, KY, KA, BT, IM, selected PO codes and offshore addresses.

Courier deliveries are kerbside drop-off. If the run is not delivered by our own team, it may arrive on a pallet and will be dropped at the kerbside or driveway for you to move and unload.

Depending on your location, we may be able to offer a fitting service. This is where our team delivers and erects the run for you at the time of delivery. Please check the Delivery and Fitting tab to see which zone your address falls under.

For some fitted runs, we may need to see a photo of the space before confirming fitting is possible.

Production and Lead Times

Although this product may show as “in stock”, all of our cat runs are handmade to order.

Please allow up to 4–5 weeks of production time, depending on how busy we are. For current lead times, please check the website banner or contact us before ordering.
